WWE legend Joe Laurinaitis AKA Road Warrior Animal Dead At 60

He was a true legend of professional wrestling. Our thoughts, prayers, and condolences go out to his loved ones at the time.

Known to his fans as Road Warrior Animal, or usually Animal, Joe Laurinaitis has died at the age of 60 on September 22, 2020, at the Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Laurinaitis was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011, with his wrestling partner Michael Hegstrand (Road Warrior Hawk). The pair made up the immensely popular and iconic tag teams in the history of professional wrestling. They were the Road Warriors, also known as the Legion of Doom. Hegstrand died in 2003 from a heart attack. He was 46 at the time.
