Things got violent in a Sacramento convenience store this week. What began as picking up a few things at the store became far more violent and racially motivated.
The video, uploaded to Twitter by user @Hitman1600 on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, has quickly gone viral.
In the video, there is a Black woman and a white woman getting into a verbal argument which quickly turned racial and violent.
By watching the video, I was not able to discern exactly what started the dispute, other than they both said 'excuse me'. Then the white woman drops the n-word in and things ramp up. She gets something thrown at her for that and a threat is made: "call me an n-word again, try it". She does and at that point, she gets punched in the head repeatedly. The white woman gets hurt and when we switch to a continued video, you can see that she is hurt and crying. I'm not sure why she is hanging onto the shirt of the Black woman, but she will not let go. The person taping the video remains silent the entire time, allowing this to unfold with no intervention, however, someone else in the store comes over and says 'that's enough'. The white woman lets go of her shirt and the Black woman leaves.
The video is below, but obviously there is a language and violence warning that goes with watching it.

A man who alleges that the woman in the video is his wife has come forward with an update. Contrary to the news online, there have been no charges made against her and she has not been arrested. There is no need for a GoFundMe on her behalf at this time.
