Gianna was a basketball standout who was following in the footsteps of her dad.

The school choir sang “Memories” by Maroon 5 in her honor. Adam Levine  later shared the clip captioning it “It’s important to cry. It’s important to sing. It’s important to love so hard and hold on so tightly for as long as we can. Now more than ever. #GIRLDAD.”

Vanessa Bryant has asked that anyone wishing to honor those lost in the crash donate to  MambaOnThree.org  in support of the four other families who lost loved ones.

Christina Mauser, a girls basketball coach at Harbor Day, also died in the crash.
