This Woman Quit Her Job So That She Could Breastfeed Her Adult Boyfriend

Their relationship is referred to in some communities as an ABR or ANR relationship, meaning they are engaging in nursing as adults.

Jennifer Mulford and her boyfriend Brad Leeson are a couple that made waves after a viral confession in 2016. The couple went public with their relationship and what it means to be in an ABR, which is an Adult Breastfeeding Relationship.

According to the lactation wiki and ABR, sometimes known as an ANR, or Adult Nursing Relationship is when two adults in a relationship, engage in adult nursing. The woman may or may not lactate, but the man does suckle her regularly as part of their intimate relationship. This may or may not involve milk, it may or may not involve sex, but it usually involves a loving couple committed to their relationship.

When she gave the interview, Mulford had recently quit her job as a bartender so that she could enter a full-time ABR with her boyfriend Brad.

In an interview with Australian radio hosts, Matt & Meshel, the couple revealed that they are on a feeding schedule and that Brad gets fed every two hours. The couple were on a schedule that saw Leeson fed every two hours, not more than three. They were at engaged in what's described as the dry feeding stage. Dry feeding is essentially induced lactation and can be achieved quite easily if you know how to do it.

Mulford had children of her own, but her milk had long since dried up since her last child was twenty years ago. At the time of the interview, the couple had not yet been able to restimulate the milking process but were confident that they would. Leeson also has children, but the pair said they do not want their children to know that he is breastfeeding.

The pair do consider this a personal bond that forms intimacy and not necessarily a sexual thing, though they do admit that it does often lead to sex. As Leeson puts it, "what man doesn't like a nice set of boobs in his mouth?" When asked if Mulford felt hassled by the fact that she needed to breastfeed Leeson, she said absolutely not. "There's nothing more relaxing than having him latch on," she said. It's not like you need to change or burp him, joke Meshel.

It's not a weird role-playing game, says Leeson. We don't get dressed up with diapers and pacifiers.

Mulford then admits that the ABR relationship was something she had always been interested in and that it was her idea to start one. She researched it online and brought it to Leeson. Since he "always had a fascination with boobs", he was on board with the idea. "At that moment I knew that I had a partner for life. We both wanted the same thing out of the relationship - a magical bond that only breastfeeding can achieve."

The couple decided to be vocal and 'come out' about their relationship in hopes to bring to light the normalcy of what they are engaging in. Encouraging others not to be shy about it.

For a feeding, Leeson might stand up, lie on the couch, or go to bed. He is open and would be happy to breastfeed anywhere. They are not opposed to trying feeding in public and would maybe use a privacy screen.

When it comes to his teeth, Mulford says, he's not a baby, he knows better than to use them on her.
