A preliminary examination showed that her unborn child had been removed from her body.

Reagan Hancock was only 21-years-old when she was discovered inside a home in New Boston. She was also seven-and-a-half months pregnant.

New Boston Police Department, Bowie County Sheriff's Office, Texas Department of Public Safety in Texarkana, Texas, Police Department are all investigating the bizarre and horrific case.

According to a press release, New Boston police found the body of a 22-year-old woman who was seven-and-a-half months pregnant shortly before 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 9, 2020, in an Austin Street home. A preliminary examination showed that her unborn child had been removed from her body.

Police said a female suspect has been taken into custody in Oklahoma. The baby did not survive, police said.

Reagan Hancock had been excited for the birth of her second child, announcing the details on her Facebook page.

"Some of you know, some of you don't... but we are having another SWEET BABYGIRL come November the 10th (give or take)," she wrote. "She already acts like her daddy & big sister. We cannot wait for our Braxlynn Sage to be here. Daddy is definitely outnumbered."

On October 13, 2020, the Idabel Police Department released a mugshot of the woman accused of killing Reagan Hancock and her child.

Taylor Rene Parker, 27, is charged with first-degree murder and kidnapping. Authorities say Parker arrived by ambulance at the hospital in Idabel, Okla., claiming her baby was not breathing.
