Cars may have been his onscreen and off-screen passion, but there's nothing Paul Walker loved more than his daughter, Meadow.
Meadow is now 21-years-old and decided to share a never before seen video of the two of them on her Instagram account. In the video, Meadow can be seen surprising her father by jumping out at him to wish him a happy birthday.
"You just scared the hell out of me," Paul says as he hugs his daughter "What are you doing? No way."
Meadow captioned the video: "I never thought I’d share this. But it felt right. Be good. I love you. Stay safe."
In the years following the death of her father, Meadow has followed in his philanthropic efforts. Paul Walker had a passion for helping animals, people and the environment.
On what would have been the actor's 42nd birthday Meadow, who was 16 at the time, announced via Instagram the launch of The Paul Walker Foundation to continue giving back in her father's honor.
"Reflecting on my father, I found myself reflecting on his passions," she wrote . "His passion for the ocean, his passion for rescuing animals, his passion for helping people and his passion for spontaneous goodwill. I wanted to start this foundation because I want to share that piece of him with the world."
The Paul Walker Foundation partners with the Monterey Bay Aquarium "to help provide educations to ocean leaders of tomorrow through scholarships and grants."
On March 18, Meadow announced that the foundation would be teaming up with an LA based food bank during the pandemic.
"We are so happy to announce that we are teaming up with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to provide meals for children during the COVID 19 crisis Please stay home. This protects not only you, but everyone around you. We need to lookout for each other during this time. And all times. Lots of love, Meadow "
Meadow is a grown woman now and aside from continuing her father's goodwill, she is mapping out a career in the fashion industry and she's got some gorgeous pictures to prove it.
Thank you for giving us a rare glimpse of your father, Meadow. He is sorely missed.
