Lindsay Hay, Instagrammer and mom of quadruplets, shared before-and-after pregnancy photos that are incredible.
Five children under 5 years of age are not something you hear every day. In fact, I had a hard time with two so I can't even imagine what this mom's day looks like.
One thing I know for sure is that Syman and Lindsay Hay have their hands full.
Lindsay Hay, 28, and influencer from New Jersey gave birth to the quadruplets in July 2019. In an interview with Buzzfeed , Lindsay said she was put on an injectable hormone called Follistim after being told she had poor egg quality. "The theory behind the drugs was that if I produced more than one egg each cycle, I’d 'catch' a good one faster. We were to try this, plus timed intercourse six times, before moving on to IVF. I conceived the quads on Cycle 3 of this treatment," she said.
Throughout her pregnancy, Lindsay regularly posted pictures of her bump.
'Spoiler alert: I have a stretch mark,' she wrote. 'Actually make that three.
"Baby A- 3 lbs. 2 oz, Baby B- 2 lbs. 6 oz., Baby C- 3 lbs. 0 oz., Baby D- 2 lbs. 13 oz.) My face is starting to swell and I’m not loving how I’m looking but these weights are everything to me and makes it all 1000% worth it."
"Four precious little lives are ready to meet us and join our family."
"Couldn’t stop laughing and crying when the nurses handed me all four today. Seriously can’t believe I carried and birthed four tiny humans at once."
Lindsay and Syman's quads were in the NICU for about seven weeks but they all went home happy and healthy. This rockstar Momma breastfed ALL of them! The babies are named: Caiden Michael, Madison Grace, Lucas William and Grayson James.
"Full hands, full heart is an understatement! They have surpassed every hope and dream I had envisioned during my pregnancy and even though time is passing quickly I know the best is yet to be.'
The post that caught that got the biggest response was particularly poignant. Lindsay shared side-by-side images with her Instagram followers to show just how much her life has changed since giving birth. It has generated more than 90,000 likes!
"IN & OUT DAY! I carried these sweet babies for 30 weeks and 4 days on the inside and here they are at 30 weeks and 4 days on the outside! Behind these babies are new marks, rolls, and skin you can’t see but they also came with new strengths I didn’t have before either. We have been so BLESSED and I won’t ever let myself take this life for granted. 💛"
