Malaysian Man Catches Strange Fish With Human-Like Teeth

The initial tweet has gotten more than 14,000 likes and 8,000 retweets.

Photos of a fish captured by a man in Malaysia have gone viral.

Twitter user RaffNasir• is the man who shared the images and people are seriously creeped out by them. The initial tweet has gotten more than 14,000 likes and 8,000 retweets.

When you look at the fish from the side, it looks pretty normal.

I mean, it's a little strange, but what's the big deal?

Then you see it from the front. RaffNasir says "Her lips are hotter than mine," and he's not wrong.

Pucker up!

So far as I can tell, NDTV and Rakyat Post were among the first to post about the fish with well-defined lips, and revealed that the sea creature is known as “ayam laut” or “ikan jebong”. You would maybe know it as a Trigger Fish.

According to the National Geographic , these fish are famous for their "nasty behaviour" and often charge at intruders, including other sea creatures as well as human divers. They use their tough teeth and powerful jaws to fight sea urchins and crabs, but their bite can also puncture diving suits.

Public reaction has been pretty funny, the internet rarely disappoints when it comes to things like this.

Here are a few of my favorites:
