Dancing Dad Celebrates His Son Being Cancer Free For 11 Months

"It was going to take a lot more than Cancer to defeat us!!"

There is never a reason more worthy of celebration than a little one being cancer free for 11 months. That is exactly what father Kenny has done and his video has toched hearts around the world.

Uploaded to his Instagram account the clip features two-year-old Kristian Thomas giggling away with Kenny, 35, as they dance to song by rapper Lil Mama.

Kristian was diagnosed with leukaemia in June 2018 and after five rounds of chemotherapy he was declared cancer free.

Kenny the 'dancing dad' captioned the video:

"Father Son chemistry ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ 11 Months Cancer Free!! If we can do it you can do it!! Live Free!! Drop a ๐Ÿ’™ for Father Son Vibes!!! #cancerf#cancerfreeee @lilmama ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ"

Kenny is a choreographer and dance studio owner from New Jersey which is undoubtedly where he gets his smooth moves from. He started recording videos with his son to distract him while he underwent chemotherapy for his cancer.

Kenny told PIX 11 : "I've been doing these videos and people have been loving them since the first one that I did.

"I figure why...be the dad that's grieving and complaining about his son being in the hospital and his family being in the hospital all day?

I think he has the right attitude. Kristian is Kenny and Mom Josilyne's fourth child and was born with Down syndrome, a genetic disorder that occurs when a person is born with an extra chromosome.

Keep fighting you guys - I hope the celebration continues.
