Chris Kyle is a father from Detroit who like to support his community.
In support of a newly opened restaurant around town, Kyle headed to Ava's Kitchen for a lunch that he won't soon forget.
He left a bit of a mixed review, but it's all in fun. The owner of Ava's Kitchen is in fact his absolutely adorable two year old daughter.
His review begins: "So I tried to support another Black Owned Business for lunch today. It’s called Ava’s Kitchen, just opened end of April. It’s a very clean establishment, but whewww let me tell you about this owner."
Kyle's first surprise was balloons tied to his chair. This was not his birthday, Ava let him know "mind yah business; those are Mommy’s".
Next, despite being the only person dining, Kyle had to wait for 45 minutes. Things started of well but Chef Ava took a break and went to watch Paw Patrol for 20 minutes while he waited.
In an interview with Bored Panda , Kyle revealed that his fun post had pefectly captured little Ava's personality. “She is such a silly girl. From the moment she wakes up, she’s laughing, smiling, and playing the entire day.”
The two of them usually spend time together from sun up to sundown. “As a full-time entrepreneur, I work from home which allows me to be hands-on with my baby girl daily,” the dad explained.
Kyle and Ava have been overwhelmed with the response to his post. “During these tough times, I’m glad to see our post shine bright in the lives of people around the world.”
His final words about Ava's Kitchen?
"Overall the customer service could be better, but the cook is a cutie; so I’ll give her another chance. Let’s not give up on Black businesses so fast after one mistake. 💕"
