Bindi Sue Irwin is an Australian television personality and conservationist. You surely know her as the beloved daughter of the late Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin.
In July 2019, Bindi Irwin became engaged to Chandler Powell, who is an American professional wakeboarder from Florida. The couple first met as teenagers at Australia Zoo in 2013. On 25 March 2020, they married in a private ceremony at Australia Zoo. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there were no guests in attendance.
Bindi recently received a belated wedding gift from The Monkey Brush, who painted Steve into a family portrait on her wedding day. Even Steve's best friend Sui made it into the picture.
On August 11, 2020, Bindi and Chandler made a very exciting announcement. "Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021," it begins.
"Chandler and I are proud to announce that we’re expecting! It’s an honour to share this special moment in our lives with you. Though I’m still in my first trimester, we really want you to be part of our journey from the beginning of this new life chapter. We couldn’t wait to share the news as this beautiful little being has become the most important part of our lives. Your support means the world to us. Please let me know your best advice and send good vibes & prayers to our little sweetheart. Love & light. ❤️"
Chandler shared a post of his own saying "We’re going to be parents!! We have a baby Wildlife Warrior on the way coming in 2021. Becoming a dad is the highlight of my life. I cannot wait to embark on this new adventure and life chapter with my gorgeous wife. Bee, you’re going to be the most amazing mother".
Grandmother to be, Terri Irwin was decidedly excited about the news. "While I wish that Steve was here to share this beautiful moment, I know that he would be so proud."
Her brother Robert also offered his congrats, writing: "I can’t believe I’m going to be an uncle! Incredibly excited for this brilliant new chapter and all the fun adventures ahead with a new little Wildlife Warrior!"
Fans are already speculating that if the baby is a boy, he will definitely be called Steve. He had immense pride and love for his little girl and I know he must surely be watching over his family from above.
